MNN. September 8, 2005. Some Rotinoshonni/Iroquois elders recently came to the conclusion, "It's our grandparents giving us a message. The wind is our grandfather and the moon which controls the water is our grandmother. It's the natural world". They were referring to Hurricane Katrina and its lethal devastation of southern United States.
